Hi Mimi
I’m working on an art project on people dreaming of the Queen and I’ve found your post very interesting
http://theroyalfirm.wordpress.com/2011/03/21/dreaming-of-the-queen/
do you have any books or sources to suggest?
thanks
m
Hello Marianne,
Sure, I can help with a couple resources:
Books:
Masters, Brian. Dreams about H.M. The Queen (Mayflower, London 1973)
Paxman, Jeremy. On Royalty (Penguin, London 2006)
Article:
Amis, “My Imagination and I”, in Barnett, ed., Power and the Throne, p. 79
Best of luck with your art project!
Thanks,
Mimi
Thanks so much!
Hello, firstly – amazing site!! Good to see positive things written about the royal family!!!
I wondered if you minded giving my own royal book a plug?? ROYAL ENCOUNTERS – Published by Amberley Press – this is a link from Amazon UK if that helps your readers…
Royal Encounters
Thanks so much!!
Paul
Hi Paul,
It’s nice to “meet” you and thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it!
I would be very interested in your book. Would it be possible for you (or your publisher) to send me a copy? I’d love to take a look, and then perhaps we could do a Q&A on my site? I’m sure you have some great stories to tell!
Let me know what you think. If it’s not possible to send a copy , maybe we can work something out (i.e. I can order a copy from Amazon).
Happy holidays!
Mimi
