For weeks I’ve been trying to come up with a topic for the Diamond Jubilee weekend. After mulling over what the Jubilee means and why it’s important, I finally decided to leave it to the lovely people at the BBC, who have created a wonderful tribute to the Queen’s sixty year reign.

This weekend will be filled with events commemorating the Queen’s long reign. Personally, I am looking forward to the regatta on Sunday, the concert at Buckingham Palace on Monday evening, and wish I was in the UK to celebrate the Big Jubilee lunch street party with friends and neighbors.
